[Rumour] New Apple iMacs to feature ATI Radeon HD 5750
VR-Zone - March 03, 2010 7:46 PM
Bright Side of News report that Apple have bought a large chunk of ATI Radeon HD 5750 cards for its iMac refresh, which BSN suggests would be in June 2010. Apple has embraced ATI Radeon graphics cards since mid-2009, with the current iMacs shipping mostly with Radeon HD 4670 and especially HD 4850 cards. This update comes as no surprise, as the HD 5750 is indeed a direct replacement to the HD 4850, with similar performance characteristics, with several additional features. BSN claims this will lead to a shortage in HD 5750 supply within the next few weeks. More next page.
