AMD officially confirms droping the ATI branding from all its new graphics solutions

It is somewhat unfortunate, but things like that were bound to happen. After having bought over ATI technologies four years ago, AMD has finally decided to start transitioning the ATI brand over to that of its own banner later this year, which is in line with the company’s Fusion plans for a complete platform solution. Guess the rumours were true, after all.
